We reluctantly award this category once again to Michael Capponi. We wanted
to give someone else a chance to reign supreme as the party king or queen,
but it seems Mr. Capponi will not be outdone. Why else would he hold an
aviator-themed party at the Opa-locka Executive Airport, bus people in from
the Beach and have a VIP section inside an airplane from yesteryear. If
expecting people to fly in and party on private jets while dressed up in
anachronistic garb is not the definition of an over-the-top party, we don't
know what is.
